The role field is now marked as required, one-click starter roles (Manager, Cashier, Server, Kitchen) appear when a venue has none, and the Add staff button says what is still missing instead of sitting silently disabled. The HR employee record option now only ticks itself once an email is present, and staff initials ignore punctuation in names.
