The Add staff wizard used to preselect United States and USD whatever your workspace was set to, so people in a euro workspace had to correct every new hire, and a mistyped negative salary was silently saved as a positive number. It now defaults the country from your company (falling back to the workspace's country, then your browser region), defaults the pay currency to your workspace's currency, only offers countries it can actually save, and tells you straight away when a salary is zero or negative.
