The campaign list shows every personalization tag as {{first_name}}, whichever way it was typed, and flags a subject with a tag no send can fill. The email editor stops a send that uses a misspelled or invented tag and names it, and the quick email composer warns about it while you type, so recipients never get a blank where their name should be.
