A service period that ends before it starts and runs into the next opening (for example Monday 17:00 to 15:00) is highlighted with an inline error and can no longer be saved, so it can't create wrong booking slots. Genuine late-night hours like 18:00 to 02:00 still save and are labelled "Closes next day".
