How does Automo use Google Calendar, Gmail and Google Drive?
Automo is a business workspace that brings your CRM, tasks, calendar, email, files, support, marketing and team activity into one place. Google integrations are optional and are only requested when you choose to connect them in Automo. Google Calendar — When you connect Google Calendar, Automo uses your calendar access to display your schedule alongside your CRM, tasks and team activity. You can also create and update calendar events directly from Automo. Gmail — When you connect Gmail, Automo uses Gmail access only for the email features you enable. For send-only access, Automo lets you send emails from inside the platform. We do not read, delete, archive, label or modify your Gmail inbox unless you separately authorise inbox access. Google Drive — When you attach or share Google Drive files through Automo, we access only the files you choose to use with the app. We do not access files you have not selected. Your data is yours. You can disconnect any Google integration at any time from Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting revokes Automo’s access. We do not sell your Google user data or use it for advertising. How long does migration take?
How long a move takes depends on the tool and how much data you have. Some tools connect directly after you sign up; others take an export file such as a CSV or PDF. Each tool's page on automo.ai/migrate lists exactly what comes across and what doesn't.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Automo holds a SOC 2 Type II attestation for the Automo platform and is trusted by governments and enterprises. AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, database-enforced access control, tamper-evident audit trails, self-serve GDPR data rights, and data residency across US/EU/AP regions on AWS — with private deployment on Enterprise plans. What if I only need CRM?
Start with just CRM on the free plan. You can activate additional modules (Helpdesk, Marketing, ERP, etc.) anytime — they all share the same data layer, so there's zero duplication.
Do you have an API?
Yes. Automo has an API with webhooks and OAuth 2.0, plus an MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants can work in your workspace. Build custom integrations or connect any tool in your stack.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep full access to your data. Export everything as CSV/JSON anytime. There are no lock-in contracts — cancel month-to-month with no penalties.

Are Automo eSignatures legally valid?
Yes. Automo e-signatures are simple electronic signatures, legally valid for most agreements under the US ESIGN Act and UETA and the EU eIDAS regulation. Each envelope keeps an audit trail of signer identity, IP address, timestamp and document hash. Use them for everyday contracts, NDAs, offer letters and vendor agreements.
Which countries does Payroll cover?
It depends on the country and on how you pay your people. The Payroll page lists the countries supported today. If yours isn't there, contact us.
Can Equity handle 409A valuations and option grants?
