Any team member can now be made a Group Manager
Workspace admins can appoint any member as a Group Manager, Group Contributor or Group Viewer of a group, no matter that person's workspace role.

Workspace admins can appoint any member as a Group Manager, Group Contributor or Group Viewer of a group, no matter that person's workspace role. The Groups settings page now explains what each group role can do, and Group Managers and Group Members can create folders visible to their own groups in Files.
