Content in the page editor is now checked and cleaned both when a page is opened for editing and when it is saved, so anything unsafe that ends up in a page cannot affect teammates who open it later. The link button now accepts web, email and phone addresses and links within your own site, and turns a plain address like example.com into a working link.
