Spreadsheets get smart chips and more colorful, flexible tables. New People, Rating, Place, File and Finance chip columns let you capture structured data — with address suggestions as you type for places. Dropdown lists can now have a color per option so selected values stand out at a glance, the dropdown picker matches your workspace theme, tables can take custom banding colors and borders, and you can format an empty range as a table and fill it in afterwards. The spreadsheet editor now also follows your workspace's brand color.
