Connecting Google reviews now checks your Place ID first
Entering a Google Place ID that doesn't exist no longer reports "connected" and hands every review request a dead link.

Entering a Google Place ID that doesn't exist no longer reports "connected" and hands every review request a dead link. The connect form now rejects IDs that aren't in Google's format, looks the place up and asks "Is this your business?" with its name and address before saving, and Ask for reviews stays off while a connected Google listing has an invalid Place ID.
