Add a line, divider or connector

Draw straight lines, rules and dividers, and connect elements with connector lines on the whiteboard. Style the stroke weight, colour, dash pattern and end caps.

Where: Design, Pro Design, Presentation and Whiteboard editors → Elements → Shapes → Line (whiteboard also has a dedicated line/connector shortcut)
How: Open Elements → Shapes and choose Line, then drag from start point to end point; adjust stroke in the right-hand properties panel.

Open the editor and select Elements in the left rail.
Choose Line under Shapes (on the whiteboard, press the line tool shortcut).
Drag on the canvas from where the line starts to where it ends. Hold Shift to snap to straight.
With the line selected, set stroke colour, thickness and dash style in the properties panel on the right.

Add images to a design

Place images on the canvas from your uploads, the brand library, stock photos, your camera, or a drag-and-drop.

Where: Any editor → left rail → Uploads / Photos
How: Drag a file onto the canvas, or open Uploads and click an image to place it.

Layers panel

Group and ungroup

Combine elements so they move, scale and align as one object.

Where: Any editor → select multiple → Group
How: Select two or more elements and press Group (or Cmd/Ctrl+G). On a phone: tap one element, tap Select multiple in the bottom bar, tap the others, then tap Group and Done.

Lock an element on the canvas

Freeze an element so it can’t be moved or edited by accident while you work around it.

Where: Any editor → Layers panel → lock icon
How: Select the element and choose Lock (right-click on desktop; on a phone, tap the element and tap Lock in the bottom bar), or use the padlock in the Layers panel.

Align and distribute

Align edges and centres, and distribute spacing evenly across a selection.

Crop and mask images

Crop to frame an image, or mask it into any shape.

Gradients, shadows and strokes
