Does the Automo app for ChatGPT cost anything?
Adding the app costs nothing. It works with your Automo workspace, and AI images and video clips use AI credits, with the cost shown before anything is charged.
Do I need an Automo account?
Yes. You sign in to Automo when you connect. If you do not have an account yet, you can create a free one in a minute.
What can ChatGPT see in my workspace?
Only what your workspace admin allows and your own role permits. Your admin can narrow access at any time, and the change applies to everyone already connected.
Can ChatGPT send emails or change things without asking?
Sending an email, inviting people to a meeting, sending a document for signature and switching on an automation each wait for your approval in the conversation, and new automations are saved switched off.
Does it work with other AI assistants?
Yes. The same Automo connector works in Claude, ChatGPT and Grok, and in Claude Code from the command line.
