Migrate from Canva to Automo
Automo reads the file you exported from Canva, not your Canva account. Drop a PDF, PNG or PowerPoint here. After sign-up it opens in the design editor so you can keep working.
What moves across
- A PDF, PNG or PowerPoint you download from Canva
- The pixels and pages in that export
- Layout that survived Canva's own download
- The preview shown on this page before you sign up
What does not
- The live Canva file, Brand Kit, folders and comments
- Magic Studio credits, apps and team permissions
- Anything you did not export. There is no Canva login to hand over
Export from Canva
- In Canva open the design, choose Share, then Download, then PDF, PNG or PowerPoint
- Drop the exported file in the bay on this page. It stays in this browser
- Create a free Automo account. The export opens in the design editor
Questions about moving from Canva
Do I connect my Canva account?
No. Export a PDF, PNG or PowerPoint from Canva and drop that file here. The live Canva design is never opened.
Will Brand Kit and folders move?
No. Only the export you download. Rebuild brand colors in Automo after sign-up if you need them.
PDF, PNG or PowerPoint: which should I export?
PDF keeps pages. PNG is one image. PowerPoint keeps slides you can keep editing. Canva's own download menu is the source; Automo reads whichever you drop.
Is this Automo's importer for Canva exports?
The drop bay is the same guest entry. This page is the switching guide: what moves, what does not, and how to export from Canva.
