Migrate from Confluence to Automo
This page does not log into Atlassian for you. Create a free Automo account, then connect Confluence in the knowledge base and pick the spaces to import.
What moves across
- Pages you pick in your Confluence spaces, up to a whole space at once
- Their page tree, content and comments. Links to other pages keep pointing at Confluence
- Every attachment on those pages, copied into Files and linked from the page
What does not
- Jira issues, boards and Confluence macros as live macros
- Space permissions and Atlassian Access
- Confluence whiteboards and billing

- Create a free Automo account from this page
- After sign-up, open the knowledge base and choose Import from Confluence

Questions about moving from Confluence
Does this page log into Atlassian?
No. After sign-up you connect Confluence in the knowledge base with Atlassian or a site URL plus API token.
What imports?
The pages you pick, with their place in the page tree, their content, their comments and every attachment, copied into Files. Importing again updates those pages instead of making copies, and anything that could not come across is listed when the import finishes.
Do Jira issues come with the space?
No. Jira is a different connect. Macros do not stay live Confluence macros.
Are space permissions copied?
No. Automo knowledge permissions apply after import. Atlassian Access stays in Atlassian.
