Migrate from DocuSign to Automo
Drop the PDF of a document you send for signature. Automo reads it on your own device, then after sign-up it opens in e-sign so you can place fields and send.
What moves across
- The PDF of a completed or draft document you download from DocuSign
- Page layout, text and images on that PDF
- Any ink already flattened into the file
- The page count the teaser shows you before you sign up
What does not
- DocuSign templates as structured fields (only the PDF comes across)
- Envelopes still waiting on a signer, routing and reminders
- Account settings, SSO, billing and user seats
Export from DocuSign
- In DocuSign open the envelope and download the document as a PDF
- Drop that PDF in the bay on this page. It never leaves your browser
- Create a free Automo account. The file opens in e-sign so you can place fields and send
Questions about moving from DocuSign
Does this copy my DocuSign account?
No. This page reads a PDF you download from DocuSign. Templates, in-flight envelopes and account settings stay in DocuSign.
Is moving a document free?
Yes. The file is read in your browser and you can start on the free Automo plan. Sending envelopes after sign-up follows Automo e-sign limits on your plan.
Will existing signatures on the PDF stay?
Ink already flattened into the PDF stays on the page. Live DocuSign fields are not structured fields in Automo; you place fields again in e-sign.
Do I need to stay logged in to DocuSign?
Only long enough to download the PDF. Automo never asks for a DocuSign login.
