What moves across

• Incoming mail you forward from Gmail to your Automo mailbox
• The same address, used as Automo Mail once connected

What does not

• Google Groups, Workspace admin and Vault
• Drive files (that is the Google Drive page)
• Your existing Gmail messages. Mailbox import is coming once Google approves it

How to move from Gmail

1. Create a free Automo account from this page
2. After sign-up, open Mail
3. Connect Gmail so Automo Mail can send from your address
4. Forward incoming Gmail to your Automo mailbox to read and reply there

Questions about moving from Gmail

Does this page open Gmail?

No. After sign-up you connect Google in Mail, and Automo Mail can then send from your Gmail address.

Can I import my whole Gmail mailbox?

Not yet. Copying your inbox needs mailbox read access, which Google has not approved for Automo yet. Mailbox import is coming once it does. Until then, forward incoming mail to your Automo mailbox.

Do Drive files come with mail?

No. Drive is a separate Google Drive page. This page is the mailbox.

Is mail stored before I sign up?

No. Automo cannot see Gmail until you have an account and connect Google.
