Automo.ai

Migrate from Google Drive to Automo

This page does not open your Drive. Create a free Automo account, then connect Google in the DAM. Automo only copies files you pick, unless you start a whole-Drive move.

What moves across

  • Files you pick in the Google picker, copied into the DAM
  • A whole-Drive copy if you grant Drive read access after sign-up
  • Folder names on files that the import keeps

What does not

  • Live Google Docs collaboration, comments and Drive sharing
  • Shortcuts, Shared drives permissions and Google Workspace admin
  • Anything you did not pick. The picker is how Automo sees a file

Export from Google Drive

  1. Create a free Automo account from this page
  2. After sign-up, open the DAM and choose Import from Google Drive
  3. Connect Google and pick files in the picker
  4. Or start a whole-Drive copy, which asks for extra Drive read consent

Questions about moving from Google Drive

Does this page see my Drive?

No. After sign-up you connect Google in the DAM. Automo only copies files you pick in the picker, unless you start a whole-Drive move.

What is a whole-Drive move?

A separate step that asks for Drive read access so Automo can copy the account. The picker does not need that extra consent.

Do Google Docs stay live Docs?

No. Files are copied into the DAM. Comments, sharing and live collaboration stay in Google.

Is anything uploaded before sign-up?

No. There is no Drive login on this page. Connect Google after you have an Automo account.
