Automo.ai

Migrate from Jira to Automo

This page does not log into Atlassian for you. Create a free Automo account, then connect your Jira Cloud site to import automation rules. Issues from projects you pick can also go into the knowledge base.

What moves across

  • Automation rules from your Jira Cloud site, with their triggers, conditions and actions
  • A review of every rule before anything is created, and imports that start switched off
  • Issues from projects you select, imported into the knowledge base

What does not

  • Boards, sprints and backlogs as native Automo projects. There is no full project migration
  • Past rule runs, audit logs and rule templates from the Atlassian marketplace
  • Site permissions, Jira admin settings and billing

Export from Jira

  1. Create a free Automo account from this page
  2. After sign-up, open automations and choose Import, then Jira
  3. Connect with your Jira Cloud site URL, account email and an Atlassian API token
  4. Optionally pick projects whose issues should go into the knowledge base, then review and import the rules

Questions about moving from Jira

Does this page log into Atlassian?

No. After sign-up you connect your Jira Cloud site with its URL, your account email and an Atlassian API token. Automo only reads.

Do my Jira projects and boards move?

No. This import moves automation rules, and optionally issues from projects you pick into the knowledge base. Boards, sprints and backlogs stay in Jira.

What happens to a rule after import?

It is matched to a real Automo trigger and actions, and you review it first. Imported automations are saved switched off, and you choose what to turn on.

Can I bring issues in too?

Yes, optionally. Select the projects whose issues should be imported and they become records in your knowledge base. Leave projects unselected to import rules only.
