How to move from Salesforce

  1. In Salesforce open Contacts or Accounts, then Export, and download a CSV
  2. Drop that CSV here. It stays in this browser
  3. Or choose to connect Salesforce. Nothing is read from Salesforce before you have an account
  4. Create a free Automo account. Your CSV opens in the CRM importer, or the Salesforce importer opens so a workspace owner or admin can sign in to a production org or a sandbox

Questions about moving from Salesforce

Does this copy my Salesforce org?

Not from this page. A CSV brings contacts or companies only. Connect your org after sign-up to bring accounts, contacts, open leads, opportunities, tasks and events. Cases, campaigns, custom objects and reports stay in Salesforce.

Which Salesforce export should I use?

A Contacts or Accounts CSV. Reports that are not a contact or company table will not map cleanly.

Is the file uploaded?

Not before you create an account. The preview runs on your device.

Where does it land after sign-up?

In the CRM importer, with columns mapped so you can import contacts or companies.

Can I connect a sandbox?

Yes. After sign-up the Salesforce importer offers your production org or a sandbox. A workspace owner or admin signs in. Automo only reads, and nothing changes in Salesforce.

What if connecting Salesforce is not available?

Where connecting Salesforce is not switched on yet, and in the mobile apps, the importer says so and offers the CSV import instead.
