Migrate from Trello to Automo

Drop the JSON export of a Trello board. Automo shows its lists and cards on your device. After sign-up the board imports as a project, with its cards as tasks.

What moves across

  • Lists, as the stages of a new project board
  • Cards, as tasks with title, description, due date and labels
  • Checklists as subtasks, and comments on each card
  • Card members who share an email with your workspace, and attachment links

What does not

  • Archived lists and cards. The preview shows how many are skipped
  • Power-Ups, Butler automations, custom fields and card covers
  • Uploaded attachment files. Their links come across instead

Export from Trello

  1. In Trello open the board menu, choose Print and export, then Export as JSON
  2. Drop that JSON file on this page. It is read on your device
  3. Create a free Automo account. The board opens in the project importer, and importing it again adds only new cards
