The macOS build could quit the instant you opened it, with nothing on screen to explain why. It now installs and opens normally, signed and notarised so macOS lets it through without a warning. Importing from Chrome now brings your history across, with the dates and folders it had — previously the import finished, said it had worked, and left every visit behind. Importing also no longer risks displacing bookmarks you already had. Elsewhere: opening a new tab puts the cursor in the address bar ready to type, the browser can offer to save a password after you sign in, bookmarks support folders and renaming and show site icons, settings are grouped into sections with a search box, and the browser follows your computer's language. Turning sync off while signed out no longer claims to have erased a copy it did not. Automo Connect's "Ask first" mode now lets the assistant read, draft and make ordinary clicks on its own, and asks you before anything that sends, posts, buys, deletes or leaves the site. Passwords, card numbers and one-time codes are never filled without you, and banking and checkout sites stay read-only. Signing in with Touch ID is not available in this build; every other sign-in method works as usual.
