the send dialog counts how many recipients would see an empty first name, last name, job title or phone for every merge tag used, and warns before a "Hi ," can ship. When the check cannot run — a failed count, or a dynamic list whose membership the engine cannot measure — the dialog says so with the same warning instead of staying quiet, with a retry where one can help. The email preview can also stand in for a real contact (empty fields preview empty, exactly as that recipient sees them), the merge-tag panel explains what a ?? fallback does on each send engine, and the editor gained an unsubscribe tag, more starter templates and small canvas fixes (Escape, select-all, Save as Template).
