Workspaces with chat switched on now prepare the channel list and the conversations waiting for you as soon as the workspace opens, so chat is ready when you are. Conversations with unread messages are prepared too, not just the most recent ones. Threads opened from the new-replies bar clear only after you have genuinely read them, and stay available to mark unread again until you leave the channel.
