Define your own deal types in Sales admin and give each one defaults: the selling entity and currency, the pricing calculator, the proposal template and terms, and the modules a deal starts with. Renewal and upsell types can start from what the account already has under contract, so preparing an upsell is a quick diff instead of retyping the whole order.
