Opening a design in the editor used to fire a burst of failed background requests, which meant collaborator presence and the "changes were made" notice never appeared while you worked on a design. Both now work, and a background check that keeps failing quietly backs off instead of retrying nonstop, so editors open cleaner and lighter.
