The End of Day summary and Z report showed a gross sales figure that matched neither the tax-inclusive nor the tax-exclusive amount whenever a discount was applied. Gross sales now shows the tax-inclusive value before discounts, so gross minus discounts equals what was charged, which equals net sales plus tax.
