Every workspace starts from company-protective default contracts matched to your company's country and the new hire's country. Contractors are kept out of payroll and get clear invoicing terms written into their agreement. You can set contracts with no end date, preview the contract in your brand, then send it for e-signature or save it as a draft. New hires stay Pending until the contract is signed by both sides, then become Active automatically. If a contract can't be sent for signature, you now see an error instead of assuming it went out.
