Imported designs land where you drew them, and grouped artwork stops

Bring an InDesign file into the editor and a headline with a superscript — a currency symbol, a trademark, a footnote mark — now sits on the same line it did in the original, instead of sliding down the page and into whatever was underneath. Drop shadows come across too. A logo or a shape you gave a soft shadow in InDesign arrives with it on the page, cast from the artwork's own outline the way the original draws it, so pale artwork over a photo stays readable instead of arriving flat. It shows in the editor and in PNG and JPEG downloads; a shadow on a group or a picture frame is not in a PDF download yet. Separately, any design with a shadow, a glow or a filter on a group used to lose that whole group from a PDF download — the artwork came out as a solid grey box. It now downloads intact.
