On the Leave Liability report, long service hours were nearly identical for everyone regardless of tenure, because the entitlement was being spread across the current calendar year instead of across years of service, and the jurisdiction's whole qualifying-period entitlement was being treated as a yearly one. Long service leave now builds from each employee's start date at their jurisdiction's yearly rate, subtracts all approved long service leave taken since that date, and nobody accrues it until a start date is recorded, so the provision and its journal reflect the real liability.
