When you import from HubSpot, everyone who unsubscribed, hard-bounced or was deleted in HubSpot is now added to your suppression list before a single contact is created, and their contact record is marked unsubscribed so campaigns skip them. HubSpot subscription types come across as consent categories with each person's answer, there is a one-click "Sync suppression list" you can re-run right before you switch over, and contacts imported from a CSV are checked against the suppression list too.
