In the presentation editor, choosing Text (or any other tool, by click or keyboard shortcut) while comment mode was on left both active, so clicking the slide opened a comment box instead of adding text. Tools and comments are now mutually exclusive, and the slide counter in the toolbar no longer shifts the buttons sideways when you add a second slide.
