In the sheet editor's pivot dialog you can drag a field from the list onto Rows, Columns, Values or Filters, or use the small buttons on each field, and the preview and Create button respond immediately. Previously dragging just selected the label text and the buttons did nothing, so the dialog could not produce a pivot table at all.
