Press and hold any clip to pick it up, then drop it anywhere, in empty space it lands where you let go and snaps to the playhead and nearby clips, dropped onto other clips it slots in and nudges the following clips along, and dropped between two tracks it starts a new track. A label shows what will happen before you let go, and one undo takes any move back.
