You'll stop missing thread replies
Until now, opening a channel quietly marked every thread inside it as read, so replies you had never seen disappeared from Catchup and from the "new replies"…

Until now, opening a channel quietly marked every thread inside it as read, so replies you had never seen disappeared from Catchup and from the "new replies" strip. Thread unread state is now tracked per thread, and a thread only counts as read once it has genuinely been on screen, so a quick glance or a mis-click no longer clears it. Opening a thread takes you to the first reply you haven't seen, marked with a divider, with a one-click way back to the newest message. Catchup adds a "Needs a reply" list for threads where someone tagged you and you haven't answered yet, even if you already opened them, and when a channel jumps back to an older mention it now tells you why and offers a way back to the latest.
