Text boxes in a design remember how many lines they were built for. Fill one with fewer lines — by typing a shorter value into a template field, or by translating into a language that says it in less — and the spare lines used to linger as blank space, pushing your text to the top of its box and sometimes letting it overflow. They now clear out, so your text stays centred and correctly sized, in every language. Blank lines you put in on purpose stay put.
