Retail venues kept their currency in two separate places, so a venue could show one currency on the Locations screen while every price, total and tax figure was still shown and charged in another, and correcting it in one place quietly did nothing. There is now a single trading currency per venue that you can see and change from either screen, and it takes effect across prices, receipts and checkout straight away. Sales you have already taken keep the currency they were genuinely taken in, so past transactions, receipts and refunds are never restated.
