In Simple mode the top bar is quieter: plain tabs, one tidy messages icon with a clear list of your channels, and a "Search or ask Mo" bar where whatever you type can go straight to Mo with Enter, or you can jump to a matching page. Section sidebars are lighter too, with your top five pages up front and the rest one tap away.
