Linking iMessage to Mo now connects you to one of Mo's own numbers, so you get the full iMessage experience: Mo reads your message, types, reacts with a tapback, replies in the thread, drops confetti when something gets done, and sends link cards for things it finds on the web. If a number ever stops working, Mo moves you to a new one on its own and sends you a contact card, so nothing you asked for is lost. Businesses that want Apple's verified blue-badge chat can choose that instead.
