Pages you publish are now live on the web. Publishing turns the page into its finished form and puts it on your site's address, exactly as it looked when you published it — later edits stay private until you publish again. Every publish keeps a numbered snapshot, and "View published" shows you what visitors are seeing, at desktop, tablet or phone width, including for people with read-only access. Published pages now carry navigation. A new Menus section lets you set header links and groups of footer links, either for one site or for every site in your workspace, so a visitor who lands on a page has somewhere to go next. Search engines can find your pages too: each site now answers with an up-to-date sitemap of its published pages and a robots file, and you can keep a site out of search with a single setting. You can also move a page to a different site after creating it, from the page settings panel — previously that could only be set when the page was first created. And two pages can no longer end up sharing one address, which used to mean one of them quietly vanished from the web.
