On slow connections the app could refresh itself mid-form while recovering from a background hiccup, wiping the email and name you had entered; it now defers that automatic refresh while anything is unsaved on the page, and if a refresh does still happen the sign-up form restores what you typed. Email addresses without a proper domain ending (like name@company) are now caught before submit.
