Instead of one vague "we didn't see the call arrive", the check says whether your carrier's voicemail picked up, whether someone answered on the phone itself, whether it rang out, or whether the call never reached the phone at all. Each of those needs a different fix, so you no longer have to guess which one you are looking at.
