Signing in with SSO honors your email invitation, including the role it came with, and workspaces that turned on auto-join for a verified domain will start adding people from that domain automatically at the chosen default role when they first sign in, where previously they were turned away. If you do not want uninvited people added automatically, turn off the Auto-join toggle in Settings > Security.
