Picking a logo or favicon on a plan that cannot save it no longer happens: uploads only start when you press Save, and if a save is still refused nothing is left behind. Saves that change nothing no longer fail with a payment error, and dark-mode colour overrides save normally. What Starter can unlock is unchanged; whether Starter should include a company logo and favicon is a separate decision.
